Mixed-Use Buildings

In downtown Ridgewood, the first floor use is best to be commercial and the second floor residential. This building will be the home of another restaurant, but this one will provide on site parking, and the second floor will include two one bedroom apartments.

Medical Centers

This 24,000 square foot building is being rebuilt from the inside out to maximize the interior volume of on old, high ceiling movie theater. With new structure we are able to add a second floor that almost doubles the existing floor space of the existing structure for considerably less than the cost of a new building.

Specific Requirements

Following the Guidelines for Design and Construction of Health Care Facilities we designed a radiology center for a group of doctors in 1985 and have since maintained code compliance as the partnership and office needs grew and equipment has been updated or replaced.

Historic Rehabilitation

The renovation to this distressed but grand old structure in Ridgewood was a code-compliant renovation that returned the original Town library to its former glory using contemporary materials and methods of construction. The work done on the library not only freshened it up visually but brought it up to current code standards with improved mechanical systems and handicap accessibility, making it a viable structure again, and for years to come.
